- General
- Do I have to update my General Ledger after working on MLAS
or can it be done automatically?
Answer: No, your accounting books will be updated automatically when working
on MLAS.
- Does this update occur at the end of the business day or at
night?
Answer: MLAS will update all your records in real-time.
- How will I know the difference of dealing with the Capital
or Principle amount and the Interest being charged on the client's
account?
Answer: MLAS will keep track of the Principle amount and the Interest
separately.
- Does MLAS cater for the fact that we do not issue loans only
to individuals?
Answer: MLAS can support loans to individuals, businesses and groups.
- Reports Module
- What do I do if I can't export from Excel.
Answer: Known problem, try useing CSV export.
- The Impact and Outreach Report gives an Error "Unsupported FRF format"
on first attempt of printing a Report.
Answer: This is due to printer settings. Try printing the Report again.
- Loans Admin Module
- How do I view a Clients account?
Answer: Before one can view a client,
highlight the client you want to view and then the click on account in the menu bar. To activate the
account, simply right click on the account and activate it.
- Microloans Module
- Client not available for selection.
Answer: Check filter choise.
- Configuration Module
- Who has the right to make changes to the BRW Tables Reset function?
Answer: Only a person that has been given rights and knows what these functions
are used for.
- Synchroniser
- When I am working on Receipts , I cannot see them reflected
in my Statements ! Why ?
Answer: Make sure that your Synchroniser is running by checking the MLAS
Monitor.
- System Admin
- When I do a Backup of my data it skips files.
Answer: Remember to stop the synchroniser before backups are made or to check if people are
still logged on.
